Types of Coffee

Barako coffee is the Philippine term for coffee produced in Batangas. Barako coffee has strong taste, flavor, and has a distinctively pungent aroma. All coffee grown in Batangas is generically called Barako.

Benguet coffee is our original blend of Robusta and Excelsa beans, roasted dark brown. It is our original blend of the Benguet or highland coffee since 1961.It is very aromatic and moderately acidic. It is bitter in taste. Its bitter taste rejuvenates a person’s tired body. It is good anytime of the day which works to stimulate one’s senses. For travelers, it is a must to sip Benguet coffee to maintain alertness.

Arabica beans have better quality and less caffeine content. It has a smoother taste and aroma with less acid. It is especially good in the morning which is bound to wake up your senses. Arabica coffee beans are distinguished from other coffee beans in part by their lower caffeine content. Arabica coffee beans can be brewed separately or combined with other coffee beans to form a blend.

House Blend Arabica
It is a special blend of Benguet, Arabica and Excelsa roasted dark.

Sagada Medium Roast
Sagada coffee is pure highland Arabica. Has a slight bittersweet aftertaste.

Sagada Dark Roast
Has a pronounced bitterness. The darker the roast, the less acidity will be found in the beverage.

Kalinga coffee has become popular because of its organic production, making it among the favorites of coffee lovers here and abroad.
Coffee lovers prefer Kalinga coffee because of its acclaimed aroma and blend. Kalinga coffee is purely Robusta beans. It is high in caffeine content which is a stimulant for sleeping.

Italian Espresso
Good beans make good coffee, it is that simple. Arabica is blended with the stronger and caffeine rich Robusta beans. It has more Robusta content in this blend which makes for a stronger espresso.
